Key Responsibilities
• Provide attentive care to the children, including feeding, bathing, dressing, and supervising play.
• Engage the children in age-appropriate and stimulating activities, including arts and crafts, reading, and helping with homework.
• Prepare healthy, balanced meals and snacks for the children.
• Drive the children to and from local activities and appointments.
• Carry out nursery duties such as children’s laundry, tidying their bedrooms, and keeping play areas clean and organised.
• Support the children and family during holiday travel, adapting routines and providing continuity of care.
• Work collaboratively with the parents to maintain routines and ensure smooth weekends.
Requirements
• Minimum 3 years of professional nanny experience, preferably with multiple children.
• Fluency in both Portuguese and English (essential).
• Confident driver with a clean UK driving licence (car may be provided for work use).
• Childcare qualification preferred but not essential.
• Strong understanding of child development and activity planning.
• Excellent communication, time management, and reliability.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Enhanced DBS check and paediatric first aid certificate (or willingness to obtain).
• Available to work weekends, with flexibility on exact hours as agreed in advance.
