Hays Recruitment is seeking a skilled and qualified Electrician to join a reputable team in Oxford for the local University. This role involves carrying out electrical installations, maintenance, and inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
What you will be doing
- Perform electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues efficiently.
- Ensure all work complies with current electrical regulations and safety standards.
- Conduct electrical testing and inspections in accordance with industry requirements.
- Collaborate with other team members and contractors to complete projects on time and within budget.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
What you need to Succeed
- Educated to at least City & Guilds Part Three or equivalent level.
- City & Guilds 2394 Test & Inspection Certification.
- City & Guilds 2382 18th Edition Certification.
- Gold ESC card/NVQ level 3
- Proven experience as an electrician in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Full UK driving licence preferred.
