The Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly motivated an Orthoptist or Optometrist with experience working in glaucoma clinics on a part- time basis.
The post holder will provide clinical care to patients with glaucoma working as a part of multidisciplinary team consisting of eye health professionals working towards high quality patients centred care for the Glaucoma pathway,
The roles involve a mixture of outpatient clinics, virtual clinics, diagnostic procedures and contributing to the development of the glaucoma services within the trust.
· Providing specialist assessment, diagnosis, and management of patients with Glaucoma
· Performing and interpreting relevant diagnostic tests including, anterior chamber assessment, IOP, visual field assessment and retinal imaging.
· Contributing to the development and implementation of glaucoma care pathways
· Participating is audit and research activities.
· Providing education and supports to patients and families.
· Providing support and education to other members of the ophthalmology team
