About the Role:
Randstad Education seeks a passionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Blackley. This full-time, long-term role will involve working with children with complex needs, providing essential support to ensure their success in the classroom. If you have at least 6 months of experience working in UK schools and a passion for making a difference, we want to hear from you!
Required Skills & Experience:
- Must have an Enhanced DBS check (child and adult) or be willing to apply for one.
- Minimum of 6 months of experience working in UK schools.
- Experience working with children with complex education needs (preferred).
- Able to commit to working long-term/ Full-Time.
- Ideally available for 5 days in a week (Monday - Friday).
- Professional references from your recent employers.
- Must have Eligibility to work in the UK (ETW).
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one and group support for children with complex needs.
- Assist in creating and delivering tailored learning plans.
- Support the classroom teacher with lesson planning and behaviour management.
- Help with personal care and mobility where required.
- Build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
