We are looking for a skilled and experienced CNC Miller Setter/ Operator to join our growing team. That person will be capable of setting and running machining centres to produce quality parts to specification checking their own work using a variety of measuring equipment Working within our fast-paced workshop based in Draycott, Derbyshire, your role will see you setting Haas Machining Centres and running off parts to a high quality.
Main Responsibilities:
Interpreting technical drawings to produce parts to the drawing specification
Where necessary running multiple machines when on running jobs
Working on small batches of high-quality parts with a right first-time attitude
Able and willing to look at processes to improve productivity where possible to accelerate output within the company
Qualifications and Skills:
Essential Skills and Experience
- Experience in setting and operating CNC machining centres
- Reading and interpreting drawings
- Self-inspecting work
- Use of Haas control
Desirable Skills and Experience
- Use of Hass Milling Machines (VF3/VF4)
- Fanuc controls
- Knowledge of G-Code programming
- Mastercam
