We are seeking a Van Driver to join our Logistics team.
As a Driver, you will be responsible for carrying out all deliveries and collections in a professional, legal, and safe manner, ensuring that all deadlines are met.
Key Responsibilities:
Driving: Adhere to all legal requirements and company policies while driving.
Loading Products: Accurately load products as per delivery notes.
Reporting: Report any accidents or incidents immediately.
Paperwork: Complete and verify all collection paperwork.
Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct daily vehicle defect checks and maintain cleanliness.
Problem Reporting: Report any issues before leaving customer sites.
Identification: Carry photo ID and inform customers about DBS information if required.
Uniform: Wear Converge branded uniform at all times.
Fork Lift Truck Operation: Operate forklifts if qualified.
Flexible Working: Assist in the Converge Operations area when driving work is unavailable.
Measures of Performance:
Completion of planned collections and deliveries.
Accuracy in collection paperwork.
Driving performance and safety.
Customer satisfaction.
Fuel efficiency.
Person Specification:
Essential Qualifications:
Basic Maths and English skill
Desired Qualifications:
VNA/FLT license
Essential Experience:
Experience in delivery/collection driving
Experience with hand-held scanners for electronic proof of delivery
