Hourly Rate: £14.07

About the Role:



-Delivering excellent customer service

-Good level of concentration and coordinating

-Good communication skills and effective report writing capabilities

-Physical protection of the premises from any external or internal threats and preservation of life

-Prevention of loss of assets, critical technology, sensitive information or reputational damage

-Thorough knowledge of the client to minimise impact to business areas, escalate where appropriate and understanding of critical systems

-Oversee perimeter access through reception for staff, tenants, contractors, and visitors.

-Undertaking patrolling, searching and emergency response procedures.

-Monitor access and egress of personnel and guests and respond to breaches

-Maintain clear and legible records and logbook Adhere to health & safety at all times.

-Any other duties deemed necessary

-Incident management.

-Ongoing training and development with new and existing Security Officers through hands on training, virtual eLearning assessments and Microsoft Office scenario.

-To lead by example in areas such as company culture, values, and ethics to provide effective leadership whilst promoting the highest standards of business practices.

-Experience working with scheduling systems/rotas



Candidate Profile

-Minimum of 3 years' experience in a security or similar management role

-Valid SIA License

-5-year checkable education/work history and references

-Experience gained in a corporate security, critical national infrastructure, Police or Military environment

-Awareness of the law within the Private Security Industry

-Good knowledge of security procedures including, Health & Safety, Emergency, Access Control, Patrolling, Searches, relevant technology etc.

-Excellent communicator, able to maintain accurate and up-to-date records

-Experienced in conflict resolution

-Confident and professional, able to motivate and support teams where required

-Excellent customer service skills

-Understanding of HR procedures is advantageous

-Good understanding or working knowledge of Security Industry

Fluent in both written and spoken English
