Mitie is proud to support the Low Level Waste Repository (LLWR) - a nationally important site based in Holmbrook, Drigg - and we're looking for dedicated individuals to join our security team.
As part of this prestigious contract, you'll play a vital role in safeguarding people, assets, and infrastructure at one of the UK's most sensitive and secure facilities. If you're serious about security, thrive in structured environments, and want a role where your presence makes a real difference—this could be for you.
What You'll Do
-Deliver top-tier security services in line with detailed Assignment Instructions (AIs)
-Ensure full compliance with all site procedures, safety protocols, and UK legislation
-Monitor, patrol, and respond to incidents to prevent disruption or loss
-Operate and monitor CCTV and other security systems (CCTV SIA licence required)
-Accurately report and document all incidents and observations
-Communicate effectively with colleagues, site staff, and emergency services
-Be a visible and reassuring presence for the site and staff alike
What You'll Need
-Valid SIA Licence (Security Guarding or Door Supervision)
-Full UK Driving Licence - essential for site access
-Previous security experience in a similar setting
-SC Clearance is desirable - or willingness to undergo vetting
-A proactive, professional attitude and strong situational awareness
-Flexibility to work shifts and adapt to evolving site needs
