We are recruiting for a driven and motivated team player to join our vibrant corporate office contract. This is an Evening supervisor role in the Newport South Wales area.

You will be responsible for ensuring that the cleaning services provided are of the highest standard and in accordance with the given cleaning specification. You will provide on-going coaching and motivation to all cleaning operatives to ensure that they perform competently and safely on a consistent basis to ensure both, cleaning and customer service standards are upheld at all times.

Provide a cleaning service, for planned routine, planned periodic and reactive requests. Reflect the relative importance of the various areas within the client estate, wellbeing and innovation areas, catering areas and offices, communal spaces and receptions.To control the issuing and usage of cleaning materials and equipmentTo report all incidents/accidents and potential hazards to the Site Manager ,To ensure all warning signage is provided to operatives and used correctly. To monitor the standards of work of the cleaning operatives using weekly checklists/audit sheets, and check that all scheduled tasks are completed. To deal with all customer complaints immediately, reporting to the Site Manager when necessary. Minimise disruption to the client's business and maintain the required availability of the key functional areas. Maintain / enhance asset value and promote a positive image of the client estate.Ensure that the attendance record system is completed and up to date, whilst ensuring all shifts are fully staffed. To keep daily staff attendance records,Assist the cleaning operatives with any daily issues in delivery of the cleaning service.Encourage good relationships with all clients, client staff and visitors.Promptly deal with any queries or complaints or escalate to the Site Manager where necessary.Assisting in selection, training and support of operatives in using correct methods and procedures.Control motivation and discipline of staff.Participate in the Health and Safety Policy of the company and report to the Cleaning Manager any dangers; hazards or other defects/issues that may be encountered. Undertake other tasks or requests within your capabilities in order to maintain and improve the cleaning services and customer experience within the premises. Allocate work areas and plan scheduling of cleaning tasks which align to the day team. Encourage a proactive approach from the Cleaning Operatives, seeking to resolve cleaning issues before they are noticed or reported by the client. Achieving high standards of cleanliness. Auditing and care of equipment and cleaning materials. Ensure cleaning equipment is maintained, and liaise with supply chain for repairs and maintenance as required. Ensure cleaning consumables are always well stocked, and place orders as required. Issue and enforcement of the designated staff uniforms and collection of uniforms from staff that are terminating employment.Ensure that uniform policy is adhered to and appropriate safe and adequate footwear and issued work wear must be worn at all times. Liaise directly with all other service lines to ensure cleaning standards are being met across the building, flagging areas of concern to the Site Manager. Identify any Health and Safety dangers; hazards or other defects/issues.Attend and participate actively in th e training provided either on or off site, or other approved bodies.

We are looking for :Previous experience working within a corporate office environment or with Public Sector clients, Previous experience of managing/supervision a team of cleaners. Knowledge of Site Security and comply with their instructions. The ability to motivate a team and promote a harmonious working environment. Adherence to budgeted levels of labour and other associated costs. General administration duties, key records, stores control
