Summary
The job will mostly be packing parcels to send out to customers and unpacking parcels we get from suppliers, answering the phones, serving customers in the shop, and after some experience checking stock and placing orders with our suppliers.
This requires you to be accurate, organised, reliable and a hard worker who can work without instruction. We need someone who is prepared to work. The shop is very unpredictable you can go from being very quiet to very busy with no warning; you must be able to prioritise your job list and make sure that all parcels are packed and sent on time.
This is a part time position, hours to be discussed on application.
The shop is open Monday to Friday 9-5 and Saturday 9-4
Saturday is a compulsory working day. We do open on Thursday nights until 7pm in the racing season. Applicants must be flexible and willing to work extra hours if needed to cover staff holidays including late night Thursdays.
