Overview
We’re looking for a warm and caring Care Assistant to join our lovely team here at Herbert House, a friendly and supportive Retirement Home.
Responsibilities
Supporting residents with personal care, meals, and daily activities,
Encouraging independence and dignity at all times,
Being a friendly face and a listening ear,
Working closely with nurses, staff, and families to provide the best care possible,
Maintain accurate care plans and documentation of client progress.
Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and other healthcare staff to ensure continuity of care,
Adhere to health and safety regulations while maintaining a clean and safe environment.
What we're looking for:
A caring nature and good sense of humour.
Team player with a positive attitude.
A willingness to learn and grow.
Experience in home care or care home settings is advantageous.
Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Ability to understand and implement care plans effectively.
Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Friday 14.00 - 20.00
Saturday 14.00 - 20.00
Sunday 8.00 - 14.00 (higher rate £18.00 p h)
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: £12.27-£18.00 per hour
