Randstad C&P is working with a national FM client to recruit a Maintenance Assistant Supervisor for a site in Cramlington. This is a full-time temporary position with the potential to become permanent. The ideal candidate will be available to start on 20th June.

The Package

  • Competitive salary up to £29,000 per annum
  • Temporary position (Opportunity to turn Permanent)
  • Full-time 40 hours working week
  • Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 5pm
  • Overtime opportunities

The Responsibilities:

  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance; assist with scheduling and prioritising site upkeep.
  • Supervise minor repairs, refurbishments, and cleaning teams to maintain high standards.
  • Ensure health, safety, and security procedures are followed, including risk assessments and emergency protocols.
  • Monitor equipment and contractors to ensure efficiency and quality.
  • Manage site inventory, supplies, and support compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Uphold confidentiality, flexibility, and a respectful, inclusive working environment.

The Requirements:

  • Strong customer service and initiative.
  • Project management and staff supervision experience.
  • Skilled in coordinating with various trades and managing maintenance contracts.
  • Able to prioritise tasks, work flexibly, and meet deadlines independently.
  • Knowledge of building regulations, workplace Health & Safety, and COSHH guidelines.
