We are looking for an energetic, dedicated, and passionate PE Teacher to join the team at a vibrant school. This is a fantastic opportunity to motivate and inspire young people through sport, physical activity, and health education. Beginning September 2025.
Duties as a PE Teacher:
Teaching PE across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 if applicable) to a high standard
Planning and delivering engaging lessons across a variety of sports and physical activities
Promoting teamwork, leadership, resilience and healthy lifestyles through sport
Contributing to the development of a broad and inclusive PE curriculum
Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback
Organising and supporting extra-curricular clubs, school teams, and inter-school fixtures
Supporting whole-school health and well-being initiatives
Maintaining equipment and ensuring adherence to health and safety procedures
Being an active and collaborative member of the PE department and wider school community
Ideal PE Teacher:
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or equivalent)
Has strong subject knowledge and a passion for Physical Education
Has experience in teaching a range of sports and fitness activities
Is enthusiastic, approachable, and a positive role model for students
Demonstrates excellent classroom and behaviour management
Is committed to inclusive practice, student engagement, and high standards
Is a team player with excellent communication and organisational skills as a PE Teacher.
Is willing to contribute to the wider life of the school, including fixtures, trips, and events
