The Role CBW Staffing Solutions are proud to be recruiting for a Junior Maintenance Engineer on behalf of a respected FM service provider. Based at a prestigious commercial site in Central London, you’ll support a skilled on-site engineering team delivering both planned and reactive maintenance.
Whether you’re electrically or mechanically inclined, you’ll gain hands-on experience with a variety of building systems and equipment while being mentored by senior engineers.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Assisting with electrical and mechanical building maintenance
- Routine checks: emergency lighting, fire alarm tests, plant rooms
- Hands-on tasks: lamp changes, filter replacements, basic plumbing
- Support with BMS monitoring, motors, pumps, and AHUs/FCUs
- Maintain site logbooks and work in a team environment
- Learn industry best practices and develop core technical skills
What You’ll Need:
- Relevant qualification (Electrical: City & Guilds Level 2 | Mechanical: Level 2+)
- Eagerness to learn and develop new skills
- Some experience in commercial building maintenance (even basic is fine)
- Strong work ethic and excellent communication skills
- Able to provide proof of qualifications
- A positive, can-do attitude and interest in a long-term career
