Summary
Join our award winning team - We are seeking outstanding individuals to deliver community care based in postal code areas EH4, EH28, EH29 and EH30.
Drivers requiring full time hours / contract preferred, but not essential. Those with access to a vehicle will however be prioritised.
This job isn't for everyone, but if you are reliable, compassionate and have a natural ability to care, Professional Carers want to hear from you! Role holders attract benefits such as;
Excellent hourly rates [regardless of age] including paid in house training with fully funded criminal records check.
Mileage payment of 40p per mile for car drivers, paid automatically into your wages.
Four weekly pay.
Opportunities to gain formal qualifications, including SVQ diplomas in Health and Social Care.
Free annual uniform, personal protective equipment, and a mobile phone.
Regular service users, consistent hours, walking runs and limited gaps in between appointments.
Cash Bonuses via the care friends app [up to £250.00 per person], monthly awards with extra holiday incentives, free blue light discounts, plus much more.
Responsibilities:
Supporting with personal care and medication administration.
Promotion of independence.
Providing Nutritional support
Catheter and stoma care.
Safety and well-being checks.
Essential Criteria
Reliable, committed and a good team player.
Excellent time keeping.
A good communicator who possesses a passion for helping others.
Desirable
6 months caring experience.
Availability to cover full time hours.
Driving licence [or be prepared to walk to appointments].
