We are seeking a highly skilled Contracts Lawyer for a project-based position, designated as Contracts Lawyer (Project) LBS-011. In this role, you will play a critical part in our organization by providing expert legal advice on a wide range of contractual matters. Your primary responsibility will be to draft, review, and negotiate contracts to ensure they align with legal regulations and company policies. You'll collaborate closely with various departments to identify legal risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. This position requires strong analytical and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly to non-legal stakeholders. You will be expected to stay abreast of changes in law and regulations impacting contracts, providing guidance to internal teams regarding compliance. Responsibilities
Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts including but not limited to service agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and vendor contracts.
Conduct legal research to support contract negotiations and provide informed legal opinions on contractual issues.
Collaborate with internal departments to identify potential legal risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
Ensure all contracts comply with relevant laws and regulations and align with company policies.
Provide training and support to staff regarding best practices in contract management and compliance.
Maintain organized records of contracts and related documentation for audit purposes.
Assist in resolving disputes related to contracts and liaise with external counsel when necessary.
Requirements
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Admitted to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
Minimum of 5 years of experience specializing in contract law or related fields.
Proven experience in drafting and negotiating a wide range of contracts.
Strong understanding of legal concepts and issues related to contract law.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present legal concepts clearly to non-legal stakeholders.
Hours Per Week: 36.00
Start Time: 09:00
End Time: 17:00
Pay Per Hour: £46.11
