Summary
Healthcare Assistance
(Supported Living -Temporary Role)
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
* Personal Care Support
Assist clients with daily personal care (washing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
Support with mobility, including use of hoists and other mobility aids.
Encourage and promote independence in personal tasks.
* Daily Living Activities
Assist with meal preparation, serving meals, and feeding if necessary.
Help with household task like laundry, light cleaning, and tidying.
Support with medication prompts or administration( as trained and allowed).
*Emotional and Social Support
Provide companionship and engage in conversation to reduce loneliness.
Support participation in activities, hobbies, and social outings.
Respect individual choices, privacy and dignity at all times.
*Monitoring and Reporting
Record daily notes on service users wellbeing and any changes.
Report concerns or incidents to senior staff or management.
Assist with care plans and follow health and safety procedures.
*Teamwork and Communication
Work collaboratively with permanent staff and other temp workers.
Communicate effectively with clients, families, and professionals.
Attend handovers and follow instructions from supervisors or care coordinators.
