What's involved with this role:

JOB TITLE: Project Manager - Software Solutions
REF: Bristol 5270089
Pay rate: £356.29 per day PAYE
Working Arrangement: Hybrid role with attendance in-person on day one to collect laptop and meet stakeholders and then as required by the work.

The role:

On behalf of a local council, we are seeking a Project Manager to lead on a specific assignment, which involves the implementation and management of a new software solution in a Children's and Education (C&E) Service setting.

Previous Software implementation experience is essential; C&E subject-matter experience highly desirable.

This is a part-time role for 18.5 hours per week available with pattern to be agreed by the line manager.

Key Responsibilities may include:

Lead the full project lifecycle for the software implementation.
Engage with key stakeholders across the C&E Service to gather requirements and ensure alignment.
Manage vendor relationships and ensure delivery milestones are met.
Oversee data migration, user training, and change management processes.
Monitor progress, manage risks, and report regularly on project status



What the client is looking for:

Demonstrated experience in managing software implementation projects.
Strong project management skills, including planning, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.
Project Management qualification - desirable
Proven ability to deliver on time and within budget in a complex public sector environment.
Subject-matter experience within Children's and Education services - desirable
Familiarity with relevant statutory and regulatory frameworks - desirable
