You will be working for a fast-growing and dynamic investment management company based in central London. With a global headcount of over 200 and growing year-on-year, the company offers an excellent working environment and a strong team dynamic.
Your new role
They are seeking a motivated graduate to join their fund finance team as an Accounts Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of accounting tasks, including:
- Daily payment reconciliations
- Processing and raising payments in line with procedures, including a weekly payment run
- Assisting with the preparation and filing of VAT returns
- Supporting the preparation of annual audited financial statements
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you should:
- Be a recent university graduate with a minimum 2:1 bachelor's degree in Maths, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Have a strong desire to become a fully qualified ACCA accountant
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail
- Have advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Word
