The Role
We are excited to announce three new opportunities to join our dedicated team at the Central Library/Museum as a cleaning operative. We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable individuals who take pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation. We pride ourselves on creating a clean and welcoming environment for our visitors, employees and members of the public.
You will be expected to perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting and sanitising surfaces.
You will ensure all areas are kept clean, organised and well maintained, whilst following established cleaning schedules and procedures.
Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to management immediately, adhere to health & safety regulations.
Two posts are for the hours of 07:00 to 10:00 on Saturdays and Sundays (with the occasional Bank Holiday required in addition same hours).
One post is for the hours of 12:00 16:00 on Saturdays and 12:00 15:00 on Sundays (with the occasional Bank Holiday required in addition same hours)
About You
Previous experience in a cleaning role is preferred but not required.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Excellent time management skills and the ability to follow instructions.
Must be physically capable of performing cleaning tasks.
