Job overviewThe role is for a part-time Office Assistant and Receptionist. We are ideally looking for a candidate who has had previous school experience (even if this is class-room based) and is familiar with the workings of a school. Although there are routine tasks, every day is different and, in this position, the successful candidate will be the first point of contact for stakeholders, representing the school. Interacting with parents, visitors, governors and children, as well as all the staff, you will be an integral part of the office team. Whilst specific qualifications are not required, the successful candidate will be:
• Conscientious, flexible and personable
• Articulate, friendly and polite and able to communicate effectively with both children and adults
• Able to maintain a calm and positive outlook in a busy environment
• Organised and able to prioritise effectively
• Happy to support children as needed and administer First Aid

The 22.5 hours a week will be:
Mondays: 8.30am-3.30pm (total 6.5 hours with 30-minute unpaid break)
