We areseekingamotivated andcompassionateSpecialistClinical/CounsellingHealthPsychologist–to join our team.


You will joinagrowingteamof psychologistswithinthe Royal Berkshire Hospital’s Cancer CentrePsychological Care Service. You will besupported by the Consultant Psychologist tomanage a clinical caseloadand contribute toservice delivery.


Thepostholder will be part of thevibrantandsupportiveClinical Health Psychology ServicewhichalsocoversICU, Haematology,Pain, Diabetes, Gastroenterology,Bariatrics,Acute StrokeInpatient ward,Inpatient Neurorehabilitation ward and Neuro Outpatient services.


Thisexcitingrole is jointly commissioned by Berkshire Healthcare Foundation Trust and Royal Berkshire Foundation Trust.

• Advice and consultation on patients’ psychological care to other clinical members of the teams providing psychologically and physically based care and treatment.

• Providing direct and indirect psychological interventions to clients.

• Providing clinical supervision

• Contributing toservice delivery, service planning and care pathways.

The “must haves” for this role:

• Doctoral qualification in clinical or counselling psychology.

• Experience of specialist assessment and formulation and treatment of adults in inpatient and/ or community physical health settings.

• Relevant experience of working withpeople affected by cancer

• HCPC registration
