Salary: £20 gross per hour
Start Date: ASAP
Hours Required: Monday to Friday 1.30pm to 7pm. The role is for alternate weeks, as this is when the children are with their dad.
Driver: Yes, and must have own car
Job Summary:
Housekeeper Nanny (80% Housekeeping / 20% Childcare). We are looking for a professional and experienced Housekeeper Nanny to support a warm, welcoming family in a relaxed home environment near Farnham, Surrey. This is a predominantly housekeeping-focused role (80%) with occasional, light childcare responsibilities (20%).
The ideal candidate will be efficient, friendly, confident, and a proactive self-starter. You’ll take pride in high standards, have excellent attention to detail, and feel comfortable working independently.
Key Responsibilities:
• General cleaning, tidying, and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout the home
• Laundry and ironing
• Weekly or bi-weekly bed linen changes
• Cooking simple, nutritious evening meals for the family
• Collecting children from Farnham Station or Elstead school bus stop (7-minute drive)
• Occasional short local drop-offs (e.g., station, golf club, friends' homes – all within 10 minutes)
• Optional: Pool maintenance (training can be provided)
• Occasional proxy parenting during the father’s business travel (advanced notice always given)
This is a respectful and easy-going household with independent teenagers who enjoy gaming, football, and swimming in the garden during summer. The family values trust, kindness, and reliability, creating a positive working environment.
The Ideal Candidate will be:
• Prior experience in a similar Housekeeper or Housekeeper/Nanny role
• High attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean, organised home
• Friendly, calm, and capable personality
• Confident working independently and managing a daily routine
• Full UK driving licence and own vehicle (required for school runs)
• Enhanced DBS and excellent references
• Must have the right to work in the UK
