Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Chef/Fish Fryer to join our team in the kitchen of our restaurant. As a team member, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of foods, and play a key role in maintaining standards within the takeaway and supporting the Back of House team. Your attention to detail and commitment to food safety will ensure that our customers enjoy delicious and well-prepared meals.
Duties:
- Operate fryers and other kitchen equipment to cook a variety of foods
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and portion sizes
- Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure food is cooked properly
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the fryer station and surrounding areas
- Follow all food safety guidelines and regulations
- Assist with other meal preparation tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a kitchen or restaurant setting is mandatory
- Knowledge of culinary techniques and meal preparation methods
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
