Crynodeb
We are looking for an enthusiastic, flexible and motivated Arts Therapist who will work collaboratively with other Arts therapists, and with the wider MDT and teaching staff at the College, with the aim of providing a holistic therapeutic approach to their work with students.
The Creative Arts Therapies are part of an integrated, multi-disciplinary team at College, including Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Speech and Language Therapists, Nurses, Multi-therapy and Health Care Assistants.
You will have an MA or equivalent qualification in a Creative Art Therapy with UK HCPC Registration, and a degree in a relevant field. You will ideally have 2 years’ post qualification experience, including experience of working with students who have severe/profound and multiple learning disabilities as well as ASD and behaviours of concern. The scope of the clinical work offered would include clinical assessment of new students as well as managing a caseload of ongoing 1:1 and group work. It is essential that you can work autonomously in this role. Clinical supervision is either partly or wholly funded by the College
