Crynodeb
The post holder will assist in providing 2nd and 3rd line support for all ICT hardware (including peripherals), Operating systems (Windows 10, 11 and Android) and third -party applications. This role is in a sub team of 11 ICT officers but within a wider team of 23 ICT officers and the opportunity to progress through to higher grades within the team when those opportunities arise.
The key areas are to undertake reception duties around issuing of hardware devices and equipment to customers and collecting devices dropped off by customers for repair and return. Support for ICT Assistants and ICT Officers in delivery of asset and storeroom duties and processes, build of end user devices mainly desktops, laptops and tablets including device repair and maintenance, as well as remote and onsite support for hardware and software problems.
You would be allocated to one of the teams within the End User Services which rotate through key activities every two weeks, but would be expected to be flexible to interchange into the other teams to assist during certain periods to cover leave and sickness etc.
