Key Responsibilities 1. Business Management Financial Management Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and reporting. Monitor financial performance and ensure cost-effectiveness. Manage NHS contracts and funding (e.g. QOF, Enhanced Services, PCN funding). Handle procurement and supplier agreement Identify and develop additional income streams. Operational Efficiency Optimise practice operations to improve patient care and staff productivity. Implement and manage digital systems to support practice management. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, NHS policies, and industry standards. Strategic Planning Collaborate with GP Partners and Practice Manager on long-term strategic goals. Analyse data and provide insights for informed decision-making. Lead service development and patient experience improvement projects. Support growth plans in line with PCN and ICS priorities. 2. Human Resources Management Recruitment and Onboarding Design and execute recruitment strategies to attract high-quality candidates. Manage the full recruitment lifecycle. Ensure an effective and supportive onboarding experience for new staff. Employee Relations Manage employee relations issues professionally and in line with practice policies. Support a positive and inclusive workplace culture. Compliance and Policy Management Ensure compliance with employment legislation and HR best practices. Maintain and regularly update staff policies and procedures. Ensure all staff records are accurate, secure, and up to date.
