A young lady in her teens who brings lots of laughter and energy to daily life and is looking for a Female Personal Assistant, someone who can support her in enjoying an active and sociable lifestyle as a teenager.

A typical day might include going shopping, going out for food, walking outdoors and enjoying spending time with animals.

This role involves helping with social activities, providing encouragement, and ensuring she can access the community safely.

Responsibilities include encouraging independent living tasks such as managing money when shopping, promoting new activities suited to her likes and abilities and supporting her in doing the things she enjoys most.

The ideal match is someone with a good sense of humour and who enjoys being active.

This role is based in East Kilbride, and a driving licence with access to your own car is required to help with transport (a mileage allowance will be paid to you).
This is a part-time role of 7 hours a week, with flexibility around how those hours are arranged; however, typically the hours are to be worked in the evenings and weekends during school term time and more flexibility during school holidays.

Days and times:
To be discussed at interview:

7 hours per week.

Typically – 1 midweek evening 5pm-8pm (flexible)
Saturday or Sunday 1pm-5pm (flexible)

Hourly rate:
£12.60 per hour

Take Control is part of Glasgow Centre for Inclusive Living (GCIL), which is an established Disabled People's Organisation, with many years of experience assisting people to maximise their preferred support needs.
