Crynodeb
In 2020 the Health Boards two Type 1 Emergency Departments merged into a brand-new department in the new specialist and critical care centre at the Grange University Hospital. The successful candidate would be expected to work across the health boards acute sites to support the clinical model as required. Emergency Medicine in Aneurin Bevan University Health Board is consultant led with an emphasis on training for all members of the team. The consultant body is made up of 27 consultants and one consultant nurse across the sites. This dynamic and enthusiastic team of Consultants believe in leading from the frontline and aim to provide outstanding care with a shop floor presence from 8am until midnight day seven days a week. They are supported by an excellent Middle Grade tier made up of ST4+ trainees, Speciality doctors and Senior Clinical Fellows and Junior (F2/CT level) doctors. The team are further complemented by experienced Emergency Nurse Practitioners, Advanced Clinical Practitioners and Physicians Associates.
