Food and beverage manager - Coastal Hotel in a stunning location
Exciting venture based in a luxury 5* resort with multi site dining operations is seeking an experienced Food and Beverage Manager.
Cornwall Staff Agency are looking for a talented and passionate food and beverage Manager to join our clients busy 5* award-winning hotel and spectaular resort location
Set on this stunning North Cornish Beach, the hotel benefits from spectacular sea views located within the Newquay areas.
The ideal person will have experience within a similar role at a similar level. You must be hands on focused, driven and passionate whilst also being engaging with the team.

Salary up to £50,000pa + excellent benefits
Key areas of responsibility will include but not be limited to…
• Managing all day-to-day Food and Beverage operations
• Deliver exceptional customer service
• Reporting to the general manager
• Work closely with Head Chef
• Management of all staff
• Establish KPI’s, policies and schedules
• Manage staffing levels and Rota’s within budgets
• Manage budgets and forecasts
• Food hygiene
• Health and Safety
• Staff training
Job skills & requirements:
• Have a passion for and understanding of good food and great wine
• 3-5 years in a senior management position within a hotel or restaurant
• Experience of overseeing multi-outlet venues or cluster management
• Previous experience of managing, leading and training a large team
• Knowledge of HR procedures
• An exquisite understanding of hospitality
• A proven track record of consistently achieving financial targets
• A WSET qualification or equivalent
• Experience of running events and private dining
• Barista experience
Candidate Specification:
For this position, we are seeking applications from candidates with strong previous experience in a similar position. We are ideally looking for a multi-skilled candidate with a strong understanding of Bar, barista work, wines and Front of House and Kitchen operations and that can hit the ground running.

• Strong previous Food and Beverage management experience
• Experience leading a food and beverage team in similar setting
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong leadership ability
• Able to work in a busy environment whilst maintaining high standards
Working hours will be varied and include weekends and evenings. This is a full-time permanent position, with a competitive starting salary and benefits.
Due to location own transport would be essential.
