Crynodeb
We are currently recruiting for a Class 2 Driver to work for a busy distribution company based in Ossett, WF5.
This is a temporary to permanent vacancy, and an excellent opportunity to work for a well-established, expanding local employer.
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Driving a Class 2 wagon
- Approximately 15 drops per day in the regional area
- Delivering & collecting palletised goods to our customer base.
- Loading and unloading of vehicles
- Daily legal vehicle checks of the vehicle
- Managing your driver hours to ensure you are within the legal limits
- Working as a team to ensure all customers are satisfied with our service
Required Skills/Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid Class 2 licence
- Must hold a valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Must hold a valid CPC card
- No more than 3 points on your licence
- No DD, DG, IN, CD, DR endorsements
- Must have at least 1 year of Class 2 driving experience
Hours:
- Monday to Friday: 7.30am start times
- Approx 5.30pm finish times
- Minimum 8 hours paid a day
- Overtime after 8 hours
- Plenty of overtime available
Salary:
- £14.50 hourly rate
- Overtime paid at Time and 1/2 after 8 hours
- Holiday Pay
- Minimum 8 hours a day pay
