Summary
This is a great role that does involve shift patterns -
Day Shift: 08:00 – 18:00 x 2
Mid Shift: 12:00 – 22:00
Night Shift: 20:00 – 08:00 (from home post-training)
Key Responsibilities
Schedule vehicle movements and allocate drivers
Act as a key point of contact for the client
Liaise with internal teams and external clients
Create clear and accurate work instructions for field technicians, including site-specific needs and equipment allocations.
Support with travel, accommodation, tolls, and service charge arrangements to ensure uninterrupted service.
Maintain communication with drivers, technicians, and management
Manage Out-of-Hours logistics
Monitor vehicle availability, defect reporting, and compliance with maintenance
Experience & Skills Required
Previous experience in transport operations, fleet planning or scheduling
Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Ability to manage pressure, adapt to live incidents, and think strategically
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across all levels
High attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving mindset
