UHI Perth is one of Scotland’s leading Colleges of Further and Higher Education,
and a large partner in Scotland’s newest University, the University of the Highlands and Islands.

The Schools College Programme Coordinator (SCPC) supports UHI Perth in the development, implementation and integration of all schools’ college activity including Foundation Apprenticeship (FA) programmes delivered across Perth and Kinross. In particular, the co-ordination, support, reporting, marketing and promotion of this activity whilst developing opportunities for new activity and the sharing of best practice.

The SCPC will develop and manage key relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders including schools, Perth and Kinross Council, local Developing the Young Workforce (DYW) and Skills Development Scotland (SDS) groups, and employers. This includes liaising with colleagues to understand the broad vocational pathway programmes, senior phase offering and learner journeys to improve joint understanding and delivery of these.
