About the role
The Prospect Development Assistant will provide a varied range of administrative and research support to the Prospect Development team. This will include being an active part of all aspects of the team’s activity, from management of information through to customer service support for our internal users.
The wider Prospect Development team’s function within ODAR is to create a diverse pipeline of fundraising prospects for our fundraisers. The role will also collaborate closely with the fundraising team, to ensure relevant researched constituents enjoy positive engagement through effective and crucial administration.

A proactive individual, with a range of administrative skills.
A great communicator who is confident whilst being well-organised.
A good eye for detail and be solution driven.
A willingness to learn new skills whilst managing a busy and varied workload.
Offer fresh ideas to help enhance all aspects of our work.

We are planning our first University-wide fundraising and engagement campaign. Together, we want to raise more money and to engage more alumni and friends with Southampton so that we can change the world. We are so excited.
We need people with direct experience or transferable skills and the interest and drive to take on a new challenge. We are actively determined to welcome a diverse group of colleagues into our inclusive team. Every day will be different, you will meet incredible people, and the rewards will be huge.
Imagine fundraising for medical technologies that could cure cancer or dementia. Or engaging a volunteer who can help a student improve their graduate prospects.
