Special Educational Needs (SEN) Schools - Primary & Secondary
Remedy Education are working with a range of well-resourced and inclusive SEN schools across South East London, and we're currently recruiting compassionate and proactive Personal Care Teaching Assistants for both immediate and September 2025 starts.
These rewarding roles involve supporting children and young people with complex needs, including Autism (ASD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), and physical or medical conditions. If you have a caring nature and want to make a difference, we'd love to hear from you.
Your Role Will Include:

Providing 1:1 and small group support in classrooms and around the school

Assisting students with personal care, including toileting, changing, and feeding
Assisting students with personal care, including toileting, changing, and feeding

Supporting pupils with mobility needs, including use of wheelchairs, hoists, and manual handling

Working closely with teachers and therapists to deliver tailored support plans

Promoting independence, dignity, and inclusion for every student

What We're Looking For:

Previous experience in SEN, care work, or supporting children/young adults with additional needs
Previous experience in SEN, care work, or supporting children/young adults with additional needs

Confidence and professionalism when delivering personal care and physical support
Confidence and professionalism when delivering personal care and physical support

A calm, patient, and flexible approach

Basic understanding of SEN and/or relevant training and the training can be provided
