Working hours: Monday to Thursday, 8:30am - 4:00pm & Friday 1:00pm finish

Brief description:
Deliver engaging maths lessons to students with SEMH needs aged 5-19 in a specialist setting.

An SEN school supporting boys aged 5 to 19 with SEMH needs. Pupils have an EHCP and benefit from personalised, therapeutic support to enable learning and development. The school is committed to fostering resilience, independence, and respect in all learners, with a curriculum tailored to their needs.

About the role:
Seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Maths Teacher to join a committed team supporting pupils across all key stages with SEMH needs. Delivering creative, accessible maths lessons that build confidence and develop essential numeracy skills.

We're looking for a dedicated candidate to:
- Create a safe, structured, and engaging classroom environment
- Plan and deliver differentiated maths lessons tailored to individual learning needs
- Support students in developing their numerical understanding and problem-solving skills
- Encourage a positive attitude toward learning through consistency and encouragement
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team including therapists and support staff
- Build strong, supportive relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues

Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS)
- Specialism or strong background in mathematics
- Experience teaching pupils with SEMH or additional needs
- A strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
- A calm, patient, and resilient approach to teaching
