We have a fantastic opportunity for experienced care assistants to join our agency and work alongside a brilliant care team within Nuthall, Nottingham.
The home provides care and support for up to 80 elderly residents who are living with age-related illnesses, such as dementia.
You will follow personalised care plans, attending to the everyday needs of the service users.
You will aid their mobility and nutritional needs, whilst ensuring that physical and psychological wellbeing is the utmost priority.
You will be supporting the emotional wellbeing by engaging with residents, in a friendly manner and acting as familiar face.
Additional responsibilities could include completing domestic tasks, adhering to health and safety guidelines, and taking responsibility for promoting the welfare of the adults in your care.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about care in all areas and willing to take on a challenge.
To apply for this role you must;
• Have 3 months experience within a similar care environment
• Have a checkable work history
• Have up to date mandatory training documents, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, Moving and Handling and Infection Control. Should you not have up to date certificates we can offer online training.
• An in date enhanced DB check. Should your DBS have expired we can offer the facility to arrange a new one for you.
