Title: Timber Operative / Woodworking Operative Currently seeking Timber Products Assemblers for our client based in Buckingham, Milton Keynes. Own transport required due to location. Previous experience within the timber industry or some experience working on industrial production lines would be beneficial.
Hours are Monday - Thursday 0730-1700 & Friday 0730-1130. The hourly Pay rate is £12.21 and up to £18.32 for overtime.
Responsibilities of the Timber Products Assemblers: Ensure the products are manufactured to the desired quality requirements, Comply with the Companys Health & Safety procedures Production output meets the desired targets Complete safety checks at the start and finish of the shift Check production paperwork and work instructions before the commencement of the job to ensure that products are made correctly Keep the work area/bench clean at all times Training is provided Requirements of the Timber Products Assemblers: Applicants must be hardworking, self-motivated but also a team player A positive attitude and willingness to learn more skills on the job Good attention to detail Must be able to complete and understand paperwork and drawings associated with the product. Previous practical experience, using handheld nail guns or power tools would be beneficial, but not essential as full training will be provided.
