Brook Street are working with a highly reputable company who are looking to add to their Financial Services team with an additional IFA. This role is offering a list of benefits, encouraging working environment with flexible working and competitive salary.

Role Overview

  • Provide tailored investment and financial planning advice to high-net-worth individuals.

  • Retain and nurture existing client relationships, ensuring ongoing satisfaction and trust.

  • Convert referrals from internal departments (private client, corporate, serious injury) and external sources into new business opportunities.

  • Proactively develop your client base through networking and business development activities.

  • Travel to meet clients, primarily within an hour of the office, with occasional national travel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth reviews of clients' financial circumstances, goals, and existing provisions.

  • Develop and present comprehensive financial plans covering pensions, investments, tax planning, insurance, estate planning, trusts, and inheritance tax mitigation.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of FCA regulations and financial legislation, ensuring all advice is compliant and in the client's best interest.

  • Prepare risk analyses, financial reports, and recommendations tailored to individual client needs.

  • Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with clients, acting with the highest ethical standards at all times.

  • Engage in ongoing professional development and maintain required certifications.

Requirements

  • Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (e.g., DipPFS via CII or equivalent through LIBF)

  • Statement of Professional Standing (SPS), renewed annually with evidence of ongoing CPD (minimum 35 hours per year)

  • FCA authorisation (either individually or under a regulated firm)

  • Demonstrable experience advising high-net-worth clients

  • Strong technical financial knowledge and analytical skills

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly
