Are you a creative and skilled painter and decorator looking for a rewarding opportunity? Do you have a passion for transforming spaces and creating uplifting environments?
If so, we invite you to join our team as a Painter and Decorator for our care homes. In this role, you will have the opportunity to use your talents to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents.
Responsibilities include:
o Work closely with our care home managers and staff to understand the unique needs and preferences of our residents
o Prepare surfaces and apply paint, wallpaper, and other decorative finishes to enhance the appearance of our care homes
o Select colours, textures, and materials that create a warm and inviting atmosphere for our residents
o Install and maintain decorative elements such as artwork, mirrors, and accessories to enhance the overall aesthetic of our care homes
o Coordinate with maintenance, facilities and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and completion of projects
o Conduct regular inspections of our care homes to identify maintenance needs and address any issues promptly
o Adhere to health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself, our staff, and our residents
ABOUT YOU, THE SUCCESSFUL PAINTER AND DECORATOR
o Previous experience painting and decorating
o Well organised and able to prioritise work.
o Ability to work on own initiative and manage time effectively.
o Working knowledge of Health and Safety at Work Act.
o excellent understanding of COSHH
o Must have a current driving license.
