We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cook (Grade C) to join our dynamic kitchen team. You will work in a fast-paced environment, coordinating with other kitchen staff to ensure that food orders are prepared accurately and in a timely manner. This position requires both creativity and attention to detail, as well as the ability to follow recipes and adhere to food safety regulations. Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in accordance with recipes and quality standards.
Ensure that all food items are prepared in a timely manner and presented attractively.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen work areas and equipment.
Adhere to food safety and sanitation regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Monitor and manage food inventory, including ordering supplies when necessary.
Assist in the training of new kitchen staff and support team development.
Collaborate with the head chef and kitchen team to create menu items and special dishes.
Requirements
Proven experience as a cook in a high-volume kitchen environment.
Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and safety practices.
Ability to work well under pressure and manage time efficiently.
Strong communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with kitchen staff.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Certification in food safety or culinary arts is preferred but not mandatory.
A strong passion for food and a desire to learn and grow in the culinary field.
