PART TIME PERMANENT POST
REQUIRED FROM September 2025 or sooner
Salary: G1 £28,163 – G6 £30,559 pa PT 15 hours per week actual salary G1 £9,775 – G6 £10,607
Penair is a large progressive and innovative secondary school wishing to develop an outstanding culture and provision. We are looking for an individual with the skills, experience and passion to contribute to achieving this aim.
We seek an organised and highly motivated individual to assist the School Governors fulfil its core strategic functions of:
1. Ensuring clarity of vision, ethos and strategic direction.
2. Holding the school to account for the educational performance of their pupils.
3. Overseeing the financial performance of the Academy and making sure its money is well spent.
Although not essential, it would be a distinct advantage if the candidate has previous experience of working in the Education sector.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of our young people and we expect staff to share this commitment. An enhanced DBS check and online social media check will be applied for.
The school would also consider applications from candidates who wish to be self-employed and contract their services to the school.
