We have a vacancy for a Teaching Assistant to work alongside the class teacher to support a child with Special Educational Needs.The role will include responsibilities such as: supporting the child's learning, undertaking playground duties, preparing resources and assisting the class teacher as well as a lunch duty.
We are looking for a suitable candidate who:
Has high expectations of children both academically and socially.Has the ability to work closely and in partnership with colleagues as a team member.Shares the school’s caring ethos and vision.Shows enthusiasm, dedication, creativity and is flexible.Maintains a calm and consistent approach to working with the children.Uses good communication skills with colleagues, children and parents.Has a great sense of humour and fun.We will offer:A caring, warm and friendly school with a supportive and committed staff teamHappy, well behaved children who are eager to learn.A commitment to professional developmentThe post is part time, term time only.Monday - Friday - 8.30 a.m. - 1 p.m.Salary is dependent upon experience.
