This school is seeking a passionate and dynamic Geography Teacher to join their Humanities faculty. This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who wants to inspire students to think critically about the world around them — from physical landscapes to global challenges. Beginning September 2025.
Duties as a Geography Teacher:
Deliver engaging and thought-provoking lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable).
Develop students’ understanding of both physical and human geography topics.
Foster curiosity, enquiry skills, and environmental awareness.
Track and assess student progress, using data to inform teaching and intervention.
Contribute to curriculum development and geography-related enrichment opportunities, including trips and fieldwork.
Support the school’s ethos and contribute positively to wider school life.
Ideal Geography Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
A strong academic background and passion for geography.
The ability to deliver high-quality, inclusive teaching.
Excellent subject knowledge and up-to-date understanding of curriculum requirements.
A commitment to pupil achievement, well-being, and personal development.
Good teamwork, communication and classroom management skills as a Geography Teacher.
