Fantastic Perm Position
Essential recruitment are currently looking to recruit QA Technical on AM and potentially PM shifts due to continued growth and expansion at our client in Burton. The ideal candidate must have previous experience, be able to work in a team and can work in quality checking in a manufacturing environment . This is a fantastic opportunity to join an expanding company on a permanent basis.

Hours of work
Monday to Friday 06:00-14:00
Monday to Friday 14:00-22:00 (Flexible)
Pay rate:
£30,000 per annum
Daily Tasks:
- Conduct thorough routine foreign body audits to ensure product safety and integrity documenting actions
- Performing real-time traceability checks with regulatory and customer requirements whilst conducting Daily duties within operations
- Manage calibration of scales, volumetric drops, and externally calibrated metal weights to maintain measurement accuracy.
- Conduct routine and ad-hoc product quality evaluations, ensuring adherence to specifications
- Verify labels and packaging compliance
- Audit production records to ensure accuracy, completeness and compliance with food safety and quality management systems
- Oversee and document and positive release process for raw materials and finished goods
- Review, track and escalate supplier non-conformance, ensuring resolution and process improvements
- Conduct GMP audits
- Conduct routine CCP verification
- Manage and executer on site lab testing schedules
Skills Required:
- Previous experience in quality assurance within food manufacturing or similar environment
- Strong understanding of food safety standers, HACCP principles and auditing practices
- Experience in Calibration, verification, and quality control processes
- HACCP Level 2 or Higher
- Strong proficiency in data recording, reporting and analysis
- Experience using quality management systems and auditing tools
- Good attention to details
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proactive and adaptable mind-set, with a commitment to continuous improvement
- Must be flexible to help support afternoon shift
