Summary
Join a dedicated and specialized team supporting an active, independent wheelchair user in his 30s to lead a full professional and social life. This is a varied, meaningful role in a respectful and engaging environment.
What you’ll do:
Support health needs at home, work and social settings.
Assist with all aspects of personal care and health related tasks, including repositioning, nutritional support, hoisting and the use of medical devices.
Support through daily routines including travel (driving), meal prep, domestic support, work assistance and maintaining a safe environment
What you’ll get:
£15.62 p/h (after initial training). Plus holiday pay and pension.
Contracted hours with consistent shifts - direct employment by the person you’ll support.
Full-time or part-time hours available – 12 hour shifts day/night.
Full training provided (prior experience not required).
Private bedroom/study for rest and privacy.
Low pressure and supportive environment with variety, purpose and human connection.
What you’ll need:
A full, clean UK driving licence (to drive employer’s car).
A friendly and proactive approach with excellent communication skills.
A professional and discreet attitude focused on enabling independence and dignity.
Comfort with basic household and admin tasks .
Reliability and flexibility with shift patterns.
If successful, a DBS check is required paid for by the employer.
