This school is seeking a caring, creative, and enthusiastic Nursery Teacher to lead learning in an Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). This is a fantastic opportunity to join a welcoming and inclusive environment where every child is valued and supported in their earliest years of development. Beginning September 2025.
Duties as a Nursery Teacher:
Plan and deliver high-quality, play-based learning in line with the EYFS framework.
Foster a safe, stimulating and nurturing classroom environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and social development.
Monitor and assess children's progress through observations, learning journals, and developmental tracking.
Work closely with teaching assistants, parents, and the wider early years team to support each child’s individual needs.
Promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being.
Maintain a strong partnership with parents and carers, including regular communication and parent meetings.
Ideal Nursery Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS).
A strong understanding of child development and the EYFS framework.
Experience working in a nursery or early years setting.
A warm, enthusiastic, and creative approach to teaching.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills as a Nursery Teacher.
A commitment to inclusion, safeguarding, and child-centred learning.
