Summary
Smart Solutions are currently recruiting for a Recycling Sort Line Operative to join our successful client based in the in Broxburn, EH52 5AU area. Our client who specializes in Waste Management and the environmentally conscious field of recycling
Pay rate: £12.21, weekly pay in arrears, every Friday
Shift patterns: Monday to Friday,
Dayshift: 5am-1pm
Backshift: 1pm-9pm
Recycling Sort Line Operative - Duties & Responsibilities
As a Recycling Sort line Operative you will be responsible for the removal of recyclable material and non-recyclable materials from a moving conveyor in a safe and productive manner ensuring that pick rate targets are achieved.
Due to the nature of this position, you will be standing for long periods of time in the same position.
Separating & placing materials for further recycling in the appropriate chute
Picking at defined rates selective materials from a moving conveyor
General Housekeeping and cleaning of machines & the operator cabins
Follow all site health and safety rules
Recycling Sort Line Operative - Person Specification
Good team working skills and good communication skills
Ability to adapt quickly to a fast paced, dynamic work environment
Strong attention to detail and adherence to health and safety regulations
Good physical condition to handle the demands of the role
