Crynodeb
Conduct face-to-face, telephone, and online consultations with patients, including appropriate clinical examination, diagnosis, investigation, treatment, and referral. Provide care for patients presenting with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems, as well as those with chronic conditions. Undertake home visits where clinically required. Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic patient care, including liaising with nurses, pharmacists, health visitors, and social care professionals. Review and act on pathology, radiology, and other investigation results. Issue prescriptions and manage repeat prescribing in line with practice protocols and prescribing guidelines. Participate in clinical meetings, audits, significant event reviews, and practice development activities. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in accordance with legal and professional standards. Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and service delivery innovation. Comply with CQC standards, GMC guidance, and local/national policies. Undertake continuing professional development (CPD) and revalidation.
