Summary

IPS Group are partnering with a global insurance group known for delivering innovative commercial insurance solutions to clients across the UK market. This is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced insurance professional with leadership capabilities who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. You’ll play a key part in driving performance, supporting your team of Insurance Advisors, and delivering a market-leading experience to new clients.

Due to continued success and expansion within their division, they are now looking to recruit a Team Leader to support their growing New Business team based in central Manchester.

The Role:

Working alongside the Team Manager, you’ll be responsible for leading and motivating a team that handles inbound enquiries, leads, and digital referrals. The focus is on converting new business while ensuring high-quality service, compliance, and team development.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Advisors to exceed sales targets and KPIs.
- Monitor team performance, manage daily workflow, and ensure all customer interactions meet quality standards.
- Handle escalations and act as the first point of contact for complex queries and complaints.
- Collaborate closely with the Retentions Team Leader to share insights and maintain service consistency.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and continuous training of new team members.
- Deliver regular performance reviews and identify training needs.

What We’re Looking For:

- Previous experience in a Team Leader or supervisory role within insurance.
- Strong understanding of the sales lifecycle within insurance, ideally in personal or commercial lines.
- Proven ability to motivate and develop teams to achieve sales targets and deliver excellent customer service.
- Confident communicator with a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
- Organised, resilient, and adaptable to changing business needs.

This is a full-time office-based position in central Manchester (Monday to Friday).
